Mid-Production Episode • Cliff-House Sequence
Mid-production episode (work in progress). The cliff-house dining hall sequence — built out of season order to test environment density, multi-character blocking, and the next-generation tool stack alongside Seedance 2.0. Continues the arc from The Watch.
Generation & Craft Seedance 2.0 · Grok Imagine 1.5 Preview · Grok Imagine Beta · GPT Image 2 · Nano Banana · Flux 2 Pro · ElevenLabs
Finishing Magnific · Topaz Astra · DaVinci Resolve
A note on voice continuity. This cut shifts voices between scenes. Based on how Seedance is configured in Magnific, the opening scene uses a standard voice — that's Ash speaking about the cognac. Everything after that is Grok Imagine: one Siena clip in Beta, then Preview for the rest. The switch between the two is audible. The 2027 rebuild will lock voice continuity through one engine.
Verifying revised character designs and voice integration in the production pipeline. Nick is a new character introduced in this sequence; Siena's design has been refined since The Watch and needed to be re-validated against the current generation stack.

Grok 1.5 Preview rotation pass. Topaz Astra finish.

Seedance pass on Siena's revised design. Verifying the new look reads cleanly in AI.

ElevenLabs voice integration through Seedance. Lip-sync and delivery evaluation.
Stress tests on Seedance's spatial reasoning: how well does the model construct geometry, fill gaps between non-aligned source images, and hold material detail under camera movement. Findings here inform how location design has to be staged before generation.

Can Seedance build the room beyond a doorway from prompt alone?

Can Seedance build the missing middle of a room between two non-aligned reference images?

Can Seedance extend the scene to construct a missing wall off-frame?

How does Seedance handle wall texture and material fidelity under a zoom-in?
Flux 2 Pro evaluations for photometric architectural relight — testing whether the model preserves geometry while shifting lighting registers across the cliff-house environment.
